Mountain Top Kids
9:15 & 11:00 am
(Rooms open 20 minutes before service.)
We want your child to love coming to church. Understanding that preschoolers are active learners, we offer a rotation through a variety of teaching opportunities to learn about the Bible while having lots of fun. Our goal is to teach Biblical principals in a nurturing and interactive environment through the use of stories, role-casting, projects, games, music, puppets and various types of play. During our large and small group environments, we begin to lay a foundation for these little ones as they start their journey following Jesus. They will learn Bible truths through age-appropriate creative lessons and exciting activities.
Stop by one of our kiosks on Main Street or Lower Main Street and check in. Kids, wear your sticker (preferably on your back) and parents, keep your matching sticker.
Wednesday Night Programs
Two of Thomas Road’s core values are Commitment to Scripture and Passion for Sharing. We want to partner with parents to instill these values in our children. During the school year (September – May) we offer the AWANA program. Knowing the Bible and hiding God’s Word in our hearts are foundational to the AWANA program. Kids are also encouraged to share their faith – their God-story – with others and invite them to church.
During the summer, children become World Explorers! Each Wednesday night we learn more about missionaries around the world. Stay tuned for Summer 2017!
Parents, we know that your schedule is packed! So, if you are rushed getting to church on Wednesday nights, we invite your family to enjoy our Church Dinners. Dinners are served from 5:00-6:00 pm in Bruner Hall and cost $2 per person, or $5 per family. See you there!
